Posted by thumpad.com in General, Multimedia, Software on March 4, 2010
Opera Mini now speaks Windows Mobile-ish! In other words, the platform now enjoys a native version of the Opera Mini 5 web browser. Up until now, WinMo users needed Java support, but that's no more.
After Skype ditched support and development for their WinMo native app, Opera are going the other way.
The Opera Mobile 10 beta has been out there for a few months but the Mini version has several advantages that make it worth downloading. The Opera Mini 5 for WinMo, just like its Java-based sibling,……

Posted by thumpad.com in General, Multimedia on February 16, 2010
Google Buzz may still be in its infancy, but it already has one obvious leg up on its competition: speed of evolution. Facebook may seem to have an endless line of facelifts, but its response to user criticism is slow at best. Twitter, on the other hand, has been slow to roll out new features and tweak the interface, often announcing changes months in advance. Meanwhile, Buzz has been out for less than a week, and Google is already making its second round of changes to the service's default behavior ……
