Lady Gaga is not only famous for her hit songs like ‘Poker Face‘ or ‘Paparazzi‘ she is equally famous for her love to fashion experiments so it was only a matter of time until the Lady showed one of the most sophisticated stage outfits, the ‘Living Dress‘, while performing ‘So Happy I Could Die‘ at the Liverpool Echo Arena last week.
The ‘Living Dress’ magically parts at the front, revealing Lady Gaga’s legs.

Mintpass Cube MP3 player features plenty of style
Posted by thumpad.com in General, Portable device. on December 6, 2009
The folks at Mintpass, known for its adorable Mintpad touchscreen PMP, are back on the scene with a little something called The Cube. A schticky audio player that goes out of its way to recall the analog gear of lore, this 2-inch cube sports push button controls, analog displays for volume, battery charge, and frequency, 3.5mm audio out, and Bluetooth. We've got no idea what the storage capacity, price, or street date might be, but we do have some pretty pictures for you. Check 'em out ……

Layar's approach to bringing augmented reality to the masses is unique. Instead of writing isolated AR apps, Layar provides a very real augmented reality platform onto which content owners can layer (or layar) their data resulting in a richer experience when viewing the world through your Android or iPhone 3GS camera lens. There are already 294 layers and counting ranging from Google's ubiquitous local search results to homegrown content listing apartments for rent or tourist hot spots…….

Posted by thumpad.com in General, Mobile phones on November 26, 2009
This is beginning to get ridiculous – we have yet another release date for the Nokia X6. And we hope this one is final, at least for the UK and Finland. The X6 was supposed to launch with a Rihanna concert on the 16th but now the latest official word is that it will be in stores this week.
For the UK, the Nokia X6 will be available exclusively at Phones 4U stores for Orange UK starting this Friday. It comes free on a 35 pounds per month contract or if your current phone is an Nseries handset and you……
hands-on Stylophone Beatbox electronic beats machine
Posted by thumpad.com in General, Multimedia, Portable device. on November 23, 2009
We've seen the pros effortlessly tapping away classic tunes on the Stylophone Beatbox, so naturally we had to give it a shot for our faithful readers. Essentially the Beatbox is a portable electronic musical instrument that activates when the stylus contacts the metallic pad. For us the functions were pretty straight-forward to use — there's a sliding switch for the three sound packs, a loop tool with record and play controls, a volume dial, a loop playback speed dial and a tuning dial……

Wearable ROCK
Posted by thumpad.com in General, Portable device. on November 11, 2009
ThinkGeek did it again, integrating a musical instrument into a T-Shirt. First there was the Drum-Shirt and now comes the Guitar-Shirt. A T-Shirt with a fully playable guitar, not a toy that plays pre-canned music.
All major chords are recorded from a real electric guitar. A magnetic pick detects your strokes via magnetic induction simulating the stroking of real guitar cords.
An included mini amp clips to the belt and gets plenty loud with great sounding amplification circuitry. The tone knob on the amp……
Jay-Z Hopes 'Auto-Tune' Will Die
Posted by thumpad.com in General, Multimedia, New Media on November 2, 2009
There’s a great debate going on in popular music, and it centers on a software program called ‘Auto-Tune.’ Its name might not sound familiar, but if you’ve turned on the radio lately, you’ve heard it used. From country artists like Faith Hill to rap artists like T-Pain, musicians are using ‘Auto-Tune’ to change the pitch of their vocals, thus adding a robotic effect to the sound of their already overly processed voices, according to a report from MTV News. Now Jay-Z, king of hi……

New Sony Ericsson Rachael UI video hits
Posted by thumpad.com in General, Multimedia, New Media, Software on November 1, 2009
Calling this Rachael UI an Android “skin” is like calling Windows 95 a “DOS skin,” but that’s not to say there’s nothing to love about it. In fact, we’re rather relieved that Sony Ericsson seems to be addressing Android’s incredibly lackluster media playback interface, the SE “mediascape” ver……

It was only a matter of time and some creative thinking until the EL decals move from T-Shirts to hats. The Equaliser Music Hat is a cute looking alternative to EL T-Shirts to use your music to visually spice up your hat this winter season.
Why only use static embroidery, print of weaving pattern to make a h……
