While we can't honestly imagine an iDevice user going about their life without connecting to the iTunes App Store at least once in a blue moon — if not on a semi-permanent basis — the statistically-significant NPD Group decided to look into the matter regardless. Sure enough, the org reports that a full three-quarters of iPhone and iPod touch users in the US do indeed download apps and entertainment content from the internet. In case you're wondering, that figure beats the pants off ……

coming soon – Sirius XM app for Android

iPhone and iPod touch users may have had a Sirius XM app for close to a year now, but it looks like Android users will soon finally be able to get in on some mobile streaming as well. While there's still no specific launch date, the app is apparently “coming soon,” and looks to be mostly identical to its iPhone OS counterpart, complete with support for streaming over both WiFi and 3G. Somewhat curiously, however, Sirius XM seems to be saying that the app will only be available for the Droid……

Oh, iPhone. Every shop wants thee. RadioShack, or “The Shack” as hipsters call it, announced that it will be offering the iPhone 3G and 3GS by the end of this month to a limited number of stores initially.

Their press release (if you could call it that), offers little more information – the iPhone will be available in RadioShack stores in the New York metropolitan area and in the Dallas-Fort Worth. The iPhone will be available nationwide at RadioShack store some time in 2010.

iPhone 3G/3GS same pricing as O2 Orange UK launch on 10 Nov

Orange officially announced that the launch of the iPhone 3G and 3GS will be on 10 November. Their future iPhone plans are absolutely identical to those of O2 ones and you can have the 3GS free for 44 GBP on a 24-month contract.

Much like recently suggested the
iPhone 3GS will see daylight in the Orange networks in about a week on 10 November. Back then Orange officials denied that there will be an iPhone price war in the UK with pricing projected to be the same as that of O2 UK.
